So I made it. Hooray! I am not the farthest south I've ever been. The flight was alright, just very long. Ended up making one more stop between Santiago and Punta Arenas, and given my long legs, that one was a bit uncomfortable. But I survived.
Just a quick update before I go meet others for dinner and drinks. I'll take some pictures of the city tomorrow and hopefully post them. Should get to sightsee some this weekend - I get "geared up" tomorrow morning, have to go to a security briefing, and move onto the ship Sunday night. Should be fun. :)
Missing all of you, but super excited to explore a new place!
P.S. This temperature differential is ridiculous. When I left Georgia, it was nearly 100 degrees. It's now 40 degrees outside. My body doesn't know what to do.
